Compulsive- When he has the impulse to do something, he doesn't question it. He just goes with it. Sometimes this works out for the best, sometimes it doesn't.
Passionate- When he likes something, he REALLY likes it. When he gets into something he REALLY gets into it. He tries to keep this on a leash, but that doesn't always work out.
Empathetic/Sympathetic- He can sense when another's mood changes. It affects him as well, and so he'll usually try to cheer them up. Or he'll get angry alongside them and things escalate from there < u >.
Unrelenting- He doesn't change his mind easily.

B i o g r a p h y : :

Zelke was born in Caeli to a female Aries named Vera and a male Virgo named Areik. His mother was studying to become a teacher in a university when she got pregnant and had to take a break from her studies to raise him. She resented both he and his father because of this and since she wasn't good at hiding how she felt, Zelke picked up on it as he grew up and came to resent her as well. This, on top of how controlling and orderly she was, lead to a not-so-great relationship between the two of them. He became rebellious toward her in little ways that she couldn't stand- like refusing to pick up his room and walking around half-naked most of the time.

Since his mother had been studying to become a teacher, she took it upon herself to get practice by home-schooling Zelke. She was a harsh teacher, demanding perfect results and punishing him whenever he was less than what she expected. Despite the fact that he was only under her tutelage until he was ten, he'd gotten up to a freshman level. As much as he hated her teachings, he has since come to be thankful for them; now he's a bit more knowledgeable than the average zodiac.

By the time Zelke turned 10, tension between his father and mother had become so bad that they could rarely be in the same room together, and so they officially separated. Zelke went with his father to Rocaberti in Tyrim. Things were rocky for a while, his father never having had much sense with money, but they were a lot happier with just the two of them. His father took up tailoring and often went to the marketplace to sell his work. As he grew older, Zelke longed to be useful and so began exploring the nearby surrounding wilderness. He found he had a knack for trapping and began helping his father by bringing him furs by the time he hit 14. After that, he joined in traveling to Kalendi every few days and selling their wares.

After a rather nasty encounter with a beast of the forest that left him terrified of any animal taller than his waist and with a chink in the base of his tail, Zelke decided that since he depended on venturing into the wilds for part of their livelihood he should learn how to protect himself and took up Kalaripayattu. Since he was only 15 and had a fairly scrawny build, he struggled some. But since he had been brought up in such a disciplined manner thanks to his mother, he quickly grew used to a routine and worked at it until he was fairly proficient.

More recently, Zelke has decided to start doing things for himself. He has no plans for the future or even an idea of what he wants to do, but he knows that the calm life he's been living for the past 17 years is not for him.

He's met a number of interesting people and visited quite a few interesting places since starting to explore. He's found his half-sister, only to lose her in the war. He had been reunited with an old flame and now has a kid on the way. He broke the tip of his tail in a fit of unbearable guilt and has largely lost his ability to fight for the moment because of the pain of it.

He loves hot springs, going as often as he can.
Because he and his mom were never really on good terms, he's a little nervous/mistrusting of Aries. Goat tails and ears make him slightly nervous.
For the same sort of reason, he is also a lot quicker to trust/open up to Virgos.
The base of his tail was damaged when he was 15, so he can't rear it up over his head. It hurts him to lift it any higher than his waist. He uses it mostly for balance. Recently he broke the tip off of it and because of this, moving it at all hurts. He has lost most of his balance and needs to relearn how to do a lot because of it.
Sexual things make him red fast and so he tries to avoid them.
He's very expressive, if a bit shy at first. He has no poker face.
He's fucking a cat. More often than not he's on the receiving end.
